gummy smile

This is a branch of dentistry that deals with the preservation of tooth-supporting tissues - the gums and bone. If left untreated, periodontal inflammatory conditions (gingivitis and periodontitis) can lead to bleeding gums, bad breath, gradual disbursement of meat and bones, teeth loosening and eventually the loss of teeth. In cooperation with specialists in periodontology, we stop and repair the consequences of these diseases (painlessly remove tartar and plaque, sandblasting, deep cleaning and root polishing, reconstruction of bone and gums, receding gums, bared tooth necks, etc.).

Gummy smile

You have a large visibility of gums while you smile or talk? Your teeth look small? Your gums are like the scenery of a painting and must be proportionally coordinated with your teeth in order to leave a perfect impression. The so-called gummy smile represents an aesthetic problem which is solved by a modern periodontal intervention – by the extension of the clinical crown of the teeth. On the basis of detailed radiological and clinical analysis, the excess gum is removed and the crowns are adjusted with ceramic veneers.
